Executive Chef and Owner Aman Razdan brings over 30 years of experience to the culinary world. Raised in India alongside his brother Janna Suvarna, he learned that family and food are inseparable. His expertise spans global cuisines, dietary needs, hotels, and banquets, with a deep commitment to community support. Proud father of Simon, Arion, and Mikhaela, Aman now works with his sons as rising chefs while his daughter lends her creativity to the restaurant’s design.
Simon Razdan - Chef De Cuisine
Chef de Cuisine Simon Razdan, eldest son of Chef Aman, has grown in the kitchen since age 14, starting as a dishwasher and now leading at Plus Saporis while also serving as Sous Chef at Hemispheres Bistro. Inspired by his father’s dedication, Simon values family above all and is grateful to work daily with his brother Arion and his father. Driven by passion since childhood, he is committed to honoring his father’s legacy and contributing to the community through his craft.
Arion Razdan - Sous Chef
Sous Chef Arion Razdan, the youngest son of Chef Aman, began working alongside his father and brother Simon at age 15. From childhood, he admired his father’s artistry in cuisine and always dreamed of becoming a chef himself. Arion describes his father as not only an esteemed chef but also a role model and man of great character. Following in his family’s footsteps, he is dedicated to carrying forward the passion, values, and legacy built at Plus Saporis.
Armando Ruiz - Lead Chef
With 20 years in the industry, our Sous Chef brings passion and dedication to every service. He began his career at Red Crow Grille, one of the Quad Cities’ first fine dining restaurants, and later worked at Hemispheres Bistro before joining Plus Saporis. His drive comes from a love for food and guests alike. Working alongside Chef Aman, he continues to expand his skills, creativity, and career while contributing to the restaurant’s vision.
